Rent or Buy?
MPRP offers two real estate routes. The rental route lowers total cost (from approximately EUR 150,000) but you do not own property; you must retain the property for at least 5 years. The purchase route (EUR 300,000-375,000) requires a higher investment but you acquire an asset. The choice depends on your preference for tying up capital.
Cost Components
Total cost consists of the government contribution (approximately EUR 30,000-60,000 depending on rental or purchase), a EUR 2,000 charitable donation, real estate, and agency/government fees. Additionally, the EUR 500,000 asset requirement (of which EUR 150,000 must be liquid) must be met. The structure is fixed and predictable.
