Investment Visas Closed

Australia closed all its business and investment visa streams, including the Significant Investor Visa (SIV), in July 2024. It is no longer possible to purchase direct permanent residence by investing a set amount; policy has shifted from capital to talent.

National Innovation Visa (858)

The new model is the invitation-based National Innovation Visa. It grants direct permanent residence to individuals internationally recognized or with exceptional talent in priority fields such as science, technology, sport, the arts, and academia. There is no fixed investment threshold; the strength of the profile is decisive.
