Process

   Eligibility check

   Confirm foreign-source income of roughly three times the Colombian minimum wage.

2. 02

   Document preparation

   Gather income proof, health insurance and a motivation letter describing the remote work.

   Application

   Apply online through the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancillería).

   Approval

   On approval, receive the V Nómadas Digitales visa (up to 2 years).

   Registration

   Register the visa and obtain a foreigner ID (cédula de extranjería) if staying long term.
